Real practices. Real numbers. Real results.

Every client result on this page belongs to a named Direct Care practice that agreed to share it. No projections, no composites, no ranges without a source — because a number you can't trace isn't proof of anything.

What Clients Actually Get

The tax number is the one you can measure. It isn't the only one that moved.

Wellspring kept $55,030 in 2025. Orchard Health kept $47,454. Those are the numbers you can measure — ask any of the practices below what changed and you'll hear about the other two just as fast.

1
Keep more of it

Tax you don't pay

A written tax plan every year, built around S-Corp timing, owner compensation, and the deductions a cash-pay practice actually qualifies for. This is the part with a dollar figure attached.

$55,030 saved at Wellspring DPC in 2025 · $32,925 at Rooted Family Health
2
Understand it

Cash and growth you can see

Membership pricing that holds its margin, a read on where cash is actually going, and the numbers you need before you hire a provider or sign an employer contract. Growth decisions stop being guesses.

Wellspring grew revenue 19.6% in 2025 alongside their tax savings, not instead of them
3
Stop carrying it

Time back in your practice

Clean books, payroll that runs, filings that happen on time, and a team of three who own it. You stop being your own bookkeeper on Sunday night.

Nate and Drew, along with their team, have been the best thing I have done for my business in years. They delivered on the tax outcomes we discussed, they stay on top of your documents and assist in finding deductions, and provide insight on how to make the best out of tax season. I utilize their fractional CFO program too and find it invaluable to my business.

In Their Own Words

Hear it from the practices themselves.

A number on a page is one kind of proof. A practice owner telling you what changed in their own practice is another.

How To Read These Numbers

Where the savings actually come from

Nothing on this page comes from an aggressive position or a gray area. It comes from four things we work on in every Direct Care practice we take on.

S-Corp election and reasonable compensation, timed correctly

This is where most of it starts. The election itself is simple; the timing and the compensation split — your W-2 salary versus your distributions — are where the money is, and both depend on how membership revenue behaves month to month.

Employer contracts structured before they're signed

An employer direct contract changes your revenue mix, your tax picture, and often your entity needs. Structured up front it compounds. Structured afterward it complicates.

Deductions that fit how a Direct Care practice actually runs

Accountable plans (reimbursing yourself for business costs, tax-free), home office, equipment and depreciation timing, the Augusta Rule (renting your home to your practice tax-free up to 14 days a year), and HSA contributions as a self-employed owner. Individually small. At Wellspring, Stand Up and Rooted, that stack was part of $32,925–$55,030 each.

Membership pricing that holds its margin

This one isn't a tax strategy at all — it's the CFO work. Wellspring's 19.6% revenue growth in 2025 came alongside the tax savings, not instead of them.
